Our church in Portland, Oregon began in 2002 in Pastor David’s living room. Though much has changed, our mission remains the same. We’re passionate about serving our community and showing God’s love in action. As we see the Holy Spirit moving in our city, we are committed to sharing the hope of the Gospel.

In addition to his role as a pastor at Freedom Life Foursquare Church, David owns a floor-covering installation company. He is a devoted husband to Kelly and a father to Rachelle and Joseph. In his spare time, David enjoys outdoor activities, particularly whitewater rafting. He graduated high school from David Douglas and holds a degree from Multnomah University. Kelly has been a part of Freedom Life Foursquare Church since its inception, collaborating with Pastor David, along with other Foursquare Church pastors, to manage the various administrative details essential for running a church. Kelly also loves singing on the Worship team. She is a devoted wife to David and a mother to her grown childr

Kelly also loves singing on the Worship team. She is a devoted wife to David and a mother to her grown children, Rachelle and Joseph, as well as her beloved fur baby, Juicy. A graduate of Corbett High School, Kelly also attended Mt. Hood Community College. Alex Fleming has been a part of the Freedom Family since the very beginning. Having grown up within the church, his deep roots and history with Freedom bring a unique heart and perspective to the worship ministry.

Alex’s musical journey began as a young boy playing the trumpet, eventually moving behind the drum kit—experiences that shaped his current roles as a skilled guitarist and dedicated worship leader. He leads services with a rare blend of technical precision and a genuine passion for Jesus.
Beyond the stage, Alex is devoted to his family. He is happily married to his wife, Sarai, and finds great reward in the journey of raising their two children. Alex’s lifelong dedication to Freedom and his love for his family make him an integral part of the leadership team.

For over two decades, he has been the steady heartbeat behind the drum kit, bringing both passion and precision to our worship. When he’s not on the stage, Chris is often found behind the soundboard, using his keen ear and technical savvy to ensure everything sound

When he’s not on the stage, Chris is often found behind the soundboard, using his keen ear and technical savvy to ensure everything sounds its best.
Outside of his time serving at the church, Chris works as a dedicated caregiver. He and his wife, Ilonna, are the proud parents of four children.
